LACBC's vision is to make L.A. County a great place for everyday, year round cycling that is safe and enjoyable for everyone. We represent those who bicycle both for transportation and recreation, promoting bicycling as a healthful, economical and non-polluting means of travel. Relying mainly on our grassroots membership, we are concentrating on the following four campaigns.
We envision a Los Angeles County that is a great place for everyday, year-round cycling; where:
  1. Bicycles are accepted as an integral part of our transportation system, culture, and communities;
  2. People of all ages, abilities, and cultures travel as cyclists, pedestrians, and motorists safely and simultaneously;
  3. Cyclists enjoy equal access to roads and trails, and share the same rights and responsibilities as other users;
  4. Air is cleaner, streets are safer and quieter, and people and the environment are healthier.
